SOUTHFIELD – Presbyterian Villages of Michigan (PVM) has annouced the election of Betsy Reid Creedon to the Presbyterian Villages of Michigan Foundation Board of Directors. The Foundation is a charitable organization that provides housing and other services through financial support to Michigan seniors. >

Creedon is the principal/owner of BJR Consulting, a project management and communication consulting company in Detroit. Prior to opening BJR Consulting, Creedon was the director of business operations, global public policy and government relations for General Motors Corporation. She is the founding memer of Pointers Sustained, and organzation created to explore ways to enhace the lives of seniors in the Grosse Pointe area. Creedon is currently on the board of the Grosse Pointe War Memorial, and a former board member of Simon House in Detroit and the Detroit Historal Society.

“We are pleased to welcome Betsy to the Board of Directors for the Presbyterian Villages of Michigan Foundation. She has an exceptional range of experience in community work, and we’re eager for her to help raise community awareness and build support for PVM,” said PVM Foundation Chair Robert Peterson.

Other appointments made by the PVM Board Members include Meagan Dunn, Donell Miles and Tene-Sandra M. Ramsey at the Village of Bethany Manor (Detroit); Patricia Ann Rencher at the Village of Oakman Manor (Detroit); Marianne Beach-Langlois and Carrie Hay McElroy at the Village of Redford (Redford); and Thomas Draper at the Village of Spring Meadows (Jackson).
