Presbyterian Villages of Michigan is committed to serving seniors and communities. It’s our goal to be a first-line provider of resources, including information. Aging should be an adventure, not a scary trip!

In the PVM Blog, the experts at PVM will regularly publish articles and information. Topics may range from smart ways to age in place in your long-time home, to tips on how to shop for a senior community. We will have articles on transportation, wellness, nutrition, technology, activities, outlook-on-life, and more.

Please let us know your ideas for topics and comments on our articles. We succeed as seniors in our community have the best Aging Adventure!

I am pleased to announce that we have launched a blog on the PVM website. Now you will be able to find very helpful information on everything from avoiding financial exploitation, housing and services, alternative transportation, on-line delivery services, family issues and fun topics such as creating memories with your grandchildren.

This is the fourth article in a series of articles I have been writing about living life without a car. Last month I introduced you to the online, on-demand shopping and home delivery service Shipt. This month I am going to share my experience using it.

Meet Rona (Benard) Myers! Rona was one of the very first residents to join Lakeshore when we opened January of 2018! It only made sense since Rona has lived in The Shores for sixty-five years of her life!

Moving Into a Senior Living Community

For many older adults who are currently independent but like the idea of living in a setting where healthcare services are available if needed down the road, a LifePlan Community can be an ideal solution.

Presbyterian Villages of Michigan Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer Lynn Alexander has been named to the Crain’s Detroit Notable Women In Nonprofits list for 2018.

According to Crain’s, the women leaders were nominated by their peers at work and in the community.
