Congressman Dan Kildee and McFarlan Homes, along with Presbyterian Villages of Michigan, held a press conference on Wednesday, October 13th to announce $8.2 million in funding which will help renovate and expand affordable housing for low-income Michigan seniors on the campus. The Congressman toured the community and called it a beacon of hope for Flint and its seniors. He met with leadership and board members of PVM and McFarlan to talk about the future of aging services and important innovations for the future. Flint Mayor Neeley and the Flint Housing Commission were also in attendance.
