Presbyterian Villages of Michigan is pleased to announce our 70th Anniversary in 2015. Throughout this coming year PVM will be celebrating with events at all 25 of our locations culminating with our annual PVM Gala in November.
We will highlight the rich tapestry of shared history with Michigan since we are Michigan founded and Michigan based. During the past 70 years PVM has become one of the state's premiere senior living and services organizations known for its Service Excellence, innovation, diversity and leadership. It has also created a positive and significant economic impact on the communities which it serves.
Founded in 1945 by the Presbytery of Detroit, PVM is a faith-based, multi-site system that serves thousands of seniors of all faiths. PVM is now an independent non-profit organization serving numerous communities throughout Michigan’s Lower Peninsula. PVM develops and manages continuing care retirement communities (apartments, assisted living, memory support and skilled nursing care all on one campus), subsidized senior housing, market rate senior housing, mixed income senior housing; as well as sponsors a variety of home and community based services/programs including Community Connections, the Strategic Alliance for Aging in Communities, advocacy initiatives, community outreach, wellness and health ministry programs, such as parish nursing.
PVM President & CEO Roger Myers stated: “We welcome community members to join with us in this very special anniversary celebration.” Events will be posted on the PVM website and Facebook page throughout the year.
